Lifestyle photos
Upload a few photos of your product and the module places it into a ready-made, atmospheric scene — for social media, your website or an e-mail. The product itself stays untouched: only the surroundings, light and shadows change. Finished photos land in your Asset Library.
What it's for
- Who it's for: people preparing social media, website and campaign content who want to show a product in a real context.
- Use it when: you have product photos and want to see them in a setting (kitchen, desk, outdoors) rather than on a white background.
- If you want a clean packshot on white, use Product photos instead. If the scene should include a recurring character, use Photos with an avatar.
Info
Product fidelity is protected: we never change its shape, colours or lettering. Only the surroundings change — the scene, the light and the shadows.
Before you start
- Permissions: a role that can use services (member and up).
- Module enabled: "Lifestyle photos" must be active for your company. If it's not in the menu, contact your WebImpact manager.
- Input material: a few shots of the same product from different sides. The more sides it shows, the more faithful it looks in the scene. Instead of uploading, you can reuse a product you saved earlier or a photo from your Asset Library.
How to generate lifestyle photos
The wizard walks you through four steps — Photo, Format, Scenery, Generate. One click takes you back to an earlier step; nothing is lost.
- Photo — add shots of the product: upload a few, pick a saved product or an image from your Library. The more sides are visible, the more faithful the product looks in the scene. If your company has that option, you mark one photo as the main one.
- Format — choose the frame shape: square (feed, catalogue), portrait 4:5 (feed — fills the most screen), landscape 16:9 (banner, header) or full screen 9:16 (Stories, Reels).
- Scenery — two ways in:
- Suggest for me — AI studies your photo, works out what the product is, and invents sceneries built around it. You can pin a style (realistic / cinematic / editorial) and add context — e.g. "ASG replica, not a real gun", "show the label". You get a list of proposals with a name and a description; tick the ones you want. Not a fit? Hit Suggest different ones.
- I know what I want — describe the scenery in your own words or upload a background photo for us to blend the product into. A short description can be expanded into a richer scene for you.
- Generate — start the run. When you tick sceneries you get one photo per scenery; with your own description or backdrop you set how many shots of that one scene you want. The whole run counts as a single use of your monthly limit. Several runs can go at once — you needn't wait for a previous one.
Finished photos appear below the form and are saved to your Asset Library automatically, with preview, download and a filter by scenery.
Wskazówka
First time here? Launch the Tour (the "?" button in the panel) — it walks the screen step by step. This page covers what the Tour doesn't: every field, limits and troubleshooting.
Fields and options
| Field | What it does | Format / limit | Default | Required |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Product photos | The shots the product is placed into the scene from | uploaded / saved / from Library | — | yes |
| Format | Frame shape (square, portrait, landscape, full screen) | pick one | portrait 4:5 | yes |
| Scenery | AI-suggested sceneries (with optional style and context), your own description, or an uploaded background | "Suggest for me" or "I know what I want" | AI suggestions | yes |
| Number of versions | How many photos one run produces | with AI suggestions: as many as the sceneries you tick; with your own scene: pick a number | per configuration | yes |
Info
If your company has the result check turned on, every finished photo is compared with your product and the doubtful spot is marked. For a small flaw you can order a fix within the same scene (up to two tries, the better version stays) or simply generate the shot again.
Limits and notes
- Monthly limit: the whole run (regardless of how many versions) counts as one use of your company's limit. Usage is shown on the limit bar in the module header.
- Time: the set usually takes from under a minute to a few minutes and runs in the background — you can do something else meanwhile.
- Coming back: if you close the page mid-run, you'll find the run still going when you return.
- Reusing a scene: a description or background of your own that worked well can be loaded into the next run in one move.
Common problems
| Symptom | Cause | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| "Monthly limit exceeded" | Company limit used up | Wait for the new month or ask your manager to raise the limit |
| Module not in the menu | Service not active for the company | Ask WebImpact to enable "Lifestyle photos" |
| Product looks different from reality | Too few input shots | Add more sides of the product and generate again |
| Can't mark a main photo | That option isn't enabled for your company | Use the remaining shots or ask your manager to change it |
