AI Avatar
Instead of booking a model and a studio every time you need a picture, you design a consistent AI character once and keep it. That avatar looks the same in every photo you make with it later, and you reuse it in other modules. Finished characters and their outfits wait for you in "My avatars".
What it's for
- Who it's for: brands and creators who want one recognisable face across photos and videos, without repeating photo shoots.
- Use it when: you need a consistent character that returns on many materials — designed once, then dressed in different outfits.
- If you want to drop a finished avatar straight into a setting or a video, go to Lifestyle – with avatar and Avatar video — both pull the character from here.
Info
An avatar built from photos of a real person needs consent. Before saving, a separate window asks you to confirm that the person is an adult and agreed to their likeness being used.
Before you start
- Permissions: a role that can use services (member and up).
- Module enabled: "AI Avatar" must be active for your company. If it's not in the menu, contact your WebImpact manager.
- What to prepare: for an invented character — an idea of the look (one sentence is enough). For a character from a real person — one to three face photos plus one full-body photo.
How to build an avatar
- Open AI Avatar from your company menu.
- Choose the path: an invented character (design from scratch) or from a real person (upload face and body photos and confirm consent).
- For an invented character, describe the look in one sentence — the rest of the fields (gender, age, height, skin tone, hair, eyes, face shape, build) fill themselves in, and you only correct what doesn't fit.
- From three face proposals, pick the one that fits. It becomes a set of shots — front and both sides — which is what keeps the character recognisable later. Either side shot can be generated again, or you can go back and choose a different face.
- From that set of shots comes a full-body photo in a simple, plain outfit. Give the character a name and save it.
- (Optional) Add outfits: upload a photo of a whole look, describe it in words, or supply single pieces of clothing. The face and the build stay untouched.
- The finished character and its outfits land in "My avatars" — view, rename or delete them there.

Limits and notes
- Only saving counts against your monthly limit: a saved character and each saved outfit. Previews along the way (face proposals, extra shots) are free.
- Timing: each stage usually takes several seconds — give it a moment and keep the window open.
- Consent for a real person: you cannot save the character without confirming the person is an adult and agreed to their likeness being used.
- Reuse: you pick the avatar in the "Lifestyle – with avatar" and "Avatar video" modules, if they're switched on for your company.
Common problems
| Symptom | Cause | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| "Monthly limit exceeded" | Company limit used up | Wait for the new month or ask your manager to raise the limit |
| Module not in the menu | Service not active for the company | Ask WebImpact to enable "AI Avatar" |
| Can't save a real-person character | Consent not confirmed | Tick the confirmation of adulthood and likeness consent in the window |
| Character looks different across photos | A saved avatar wasn't selected | In the target module, pick the character from "My avatars" instead of uploading new photos |
| Avatar missing from the list in another module | The character wasn't saved | Go back to AI Avatar, give it a name and save the character |
