Video from a photo
Upload one photo and the module sets it in motion — the result is a few-second clip for social media or an ad. The place, the product and the people stay exactly as they were; what is new is the movement, the camera work and the mood. The finished film lands in your Asset Library.
What it's for
- Who it's for: people preparing short videos for reels, stories, ads and websites.
- Use it when: you have one clear photo and want to turn it into a living, few-second clip instead of a static image.

Info
The film keeps what's in the photo — the place, the product and the people. It only adds motion, camera framing and mood; it doesn't change the scene itself.
Before you start
- Permissions: a role that can use services (member and up).
- Module enabled: "Video from a photo" must be active for your company. If it's not in the menu, contact your WebImpact manager.
- What to prepare: one photo — uploaded from your computer or picked from your company's Asset Library. The more clearly it shows the thing you want to bring to life, the better the clip.
How to make a video from a photo
- Open Video from a photo from your company menu.
- Pick a photo — upload a file from your computer or choose one from your Asset Library. That photo is the scene of the film.
- Choose the clip's format (shape): vertical, square or horizontal. Vertical suits reels and stories, horizontal suits a website or a presentation.
- Set the idea for the motion. You can ask for suggestions — the system looks at your photo and offers a few ideas, and comes up with fresh ones if none fit. Or describe your own idea in plain words and we write it out into a full description of the film. You can also set the pace, style and anything to watch out for up front.
- Choose the clip's length and decide whether it has sound. You can still fine-tune the description itself.
- Click Generate. The clip joins the queue and is made in the background — usually a few minutes — so you can get on with something else.
- When the clip is ready you get a notification. You can watch and download it right away, and a copy stays in your Asset Library.

Limits and notes
- One run = one film. For another clip, run the module again.
- Time to make: usually a few minutes; it runs in the background, so you don't have to wait by the window.
- Monthly limit: each generated film counts against your company's monthly limit. Usage is shown on the limit bar in the module header.
- Reuse: a result you like can be repeated in one click or applied to a different photo.
Common problems
