Avatar video
This module makes a short video in which your AI character presents, holds or uses your product. The clip has ambient sound and music, but the character never speaks — there is no dialogue. The character comes from the Avatar module, so it looks the same in every video.
What it's for
- Who it's for: people preparing short ad spots and social media material with a recognisable company character.
- Use it when: you have a saved avatar (or photos of a person) and want a few-second clip in which they present your product.
- If you want to only build or save the character itself, start with the Avatar module. If the product doesn't need to be held by a character and animating a plain photo is enough, use Video.
Info
This module only works with the Avatar module switched on — that's where the character comes from. If you don't have a character yet, create one in the Avatar module first.
Before you start
- Permissions: a role that can use services (member and up).
- Modules enabled: "Avatar video" and "Avatar" must be active for your company. If the module isn't in the menu, contact your WebImpact manager.
- What to prepare: a saved avatar or up to four photos of a person; optionally product photos (from your computer or the Asset Library) and a short product description.
How to make an avatar video
- Open Avatar video from your company menu.
- Choose the character: pick a saved avatar or upload up to four photos. The character's name is required — you cannot move on without it, and it is how you find the clip later.
- Add a product (optional): upload product photos or pick them from the Library. We cut out the background for you, and a short product description helps keep its real size in hand believable. Skip this step if the clip is about the character alone.
- Choose the style and setting: pick the type of ad (e.g. a fast one for reels, a calm presentation, a close-up on the detail). The setting can come from a ready-made list, from your own description, or from a photo of a place you upload. Pose, expression and framing can be left to us.
- Generate the opening frame: a still opening shot is built first — the character, the product and the setting together. Set the format (portrait, square or landscape), the quality and how many options to see, then point to the one that should come to life. Frames that miss can be generated again.
- Turn the frame into a video: set the clip length, the quality and whether it keeps a soundtrack, then click Generate. The video is made in the background — usually a few minutes — so you can prepare the next one meanwhile.
- We'll let you know with a notification when the video is ready. The clip lands in your Asset Library.

Limits and notes
- The order is fixed: you pick the opening frame first, and only then does the video come from it. These are two separate steps.
- Generation time: the video is made in the background and usually takes a few minutes — you don't have to wait at the screen, you'll get a notification.
- Monthly limit: generating counts against your company's monthly limit. Usage is shown on the limit bar in the module header.
- Sound: the clip has ambient sound and music, but the character does not speak. A voice-over or subtitles are added separately in the Dubbing + subtitles module (if it's enabled).
- Saved opening frames stay in this browser; finished videos land in your Asset Library, and you can get back to them from another device too.
Common problems
